I grew up in a very visionary and musical family. My mothers side of the family are all musicians; fathers, artists. So unavoidably, I became a creative junky fairly quickly. My last 2 years of high school were spent in art class for triple periods when I should have been in Algebra. The square root of 6 is 18, right? Shortly after, I got my first legit job in a wedding photography studio, sorting 35 mm and medium format negatives, scanning photos to produce a hand tint, along with assembling slip-in albums. Ah, album tape guns.. they bring us all back, don’t they? That was 13 years ago and the rest is history.
I love to create. I love to tell a story. My friends tell me I relay a story like a dramatic read for a play, of which not one single detail was left uncovered. It’s an understatement to say that I’m detail oriented and can analyze something until it’s broken apart into microscopic pieces. Which is predominately what I do with designing. I dissect photos and find the best possible combination and color scheme to make a rad yet beautiful flowing Album Design. I’m a lefty so factually, I mainly use the right side of my brain… the creative side. The side that allows me to think half way between fantasy and reality. It’s fun & you should try it. Just don’t get lost.
