“Fantastic Oahu wedding planners Hello or should I say Aloha! I want to first say a BIG thank you to Capt Howie, Chrissy and Wade for making our wedding day so special and memorable! It truly was magically and exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, Chrissy was so helpful & kind when I had questions or concerns and was even more so in person the day of our wedding. From the moment we stepped into the magical Pukalani Falls Garden, we were made to feel at ease. I can’t thank our makeup artist Wade enough for making me feel and look so beautiful on my special day. He truly is an artist! We also want to thank Capt Howie for a lovely ceremony that was both sweet and unique all in one, and for making us feel welcome and totally relaxed. Lastly, big thanks to Fernando for providing us a lifetime of memories with our beautiful photos. I would highly recommend that if anyone is debating getting married in Hawaii to do it on Oahu and have Above Heavens Gate as their Oahu wedding planner. They truly love what they do and it shows! “Danny and I wanted to take a minute to tell you how much we appreciated everything you and your staff did to make our wedding day so special. Even before we got engaged, we knew we wanted a Hawaii destination wedding. When we got serious about picking a location, we came across your website. We were initially looking at getting married on a beach, but when we saw the Pukalani Falls Garden, we were almost immediately sold on it for our location. It had everything we were looking for: beautiful, exotic location, warm and private. From the initial contact by email and eventually by phone, we were put at ease knowing our wedding was in good hands. Chrissy was always very easy to work with and happy to answer any questions we had about our event. We had a few special requests like ordering leis for our parents and arranging to ship a few items ahead of our arrival. All of our requests were handled very quickly and without any issues. We chose a sunrise wedding and couldn’t have asked for better weather for our day. I chose to have my hair and makeup done by your artist Ruthie and she did a wonderful job. She took my ideas and turned them into something even better than I had pictured. She definitely made me feel like a princess for the day! Fernando was our photographer. He was just wonderful. Danny is not a fan of being photographed and Fernando helped to put him at ease. Because of this, he was able to capture some very intimate moments between Danny and I. He also had some great ideas for poses, not just the same ones that you see with a lot of other weddings. In addition, he took one of Danny’s ideas for displaying our rings and turned it into a unique shot. We also chose a digital photo album. I would recommend this to anyone. We had ours playing on a laptop on the guestbook table at our home reception. We had many compliments on it and a lot of our guests stood around watching as it continually turned through all the pages. Definitely a unique way to display all of the poses! We also had you videotape our ceremony. I thought it would just be a basic run of the mill video of just the ceremony, but yet again we were just blown away when we sat down to watch it. We loved how so many great moments were captured between Danny and I. The sound and video quality were top notch and Chrissy did a wonderful job. I was especially touched that she was able to get a great moment with Danny and I talking to my grandmother back home on the speakerphone. I didn’t realize she was taping us at the time and it made for a nice surprise. Last, but certainly not least, we have to give a special thank you to Captain Howie. His words meant so much to the two of us. He began our ceremony by referencing that it was Friday the 13th. I don’t think he knew, but we chose November 13 (a Friday) on purpose because our first date was on a Friday the 13th. It seemed like he just knew how special that particular date was to us. The whole ceremony was just very moving and we loved that we weren’t just having the normal “cookie cutter” ceremony. In closing, if any brides are looking at Hawaii for their weddings, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Above Heaven’s Gate. Thanks to everyone, you helped us have the wedding of our dreams! “Wonderful destination wedding in hawaii We’d like to thank you all so much for the beautiful Hawaiian wedding you arranged for us in August. We still think back about our special day very often and remember it very fondly. Family and friends have all been “wowed” by our amazing photos. We felt very welcome in your beautiful paradise. The setting of our wedding in the gardens of Pukalani Falls could not have been any better. The photos on the beach at Angels Bay certainly impressed everyone back here in the UK and Belgium. Also many thanks to your make up artist Wade who did a brilliant job and was so kind to do my sister’s hair as well even though this was not arranged beforehand. The photographer was lovely and knew the place so well. He really made us look so good and happy together. Thanks for the tip on Cinnamon’s Cafe. We had the best wedding breakfast ever. You guys are truly at the top of destination weddings in Hawaii. We hope all of you are keeping well and go on organizing many more weddings to fulfill people’s dreams of getting married in Hawaii. “Thank you Capt Howie.  Jay and I wanted to thank all of you at HawaiiWeddings.com for making our Hawaiian wedding day such a wonderful experience. Getting married in Hawaii is what we always wanted. It could not have been more perfect. Your office manager Chrissy was very patient and reassured us that everything would be taken care of, and it certainly was. When we arrived the only thing we had to do was be ourselves before the camera. Everyone made us feel like we were VIP’s. Our Photographer Fern was great. He made taking pictures an enjoyable experience. We liked the fact he took his time and wanted to get the best shots possible. Even the pictures Fern was able to show us, the day of our wedding, were amazing. The Pukalani Falls garden was breath taking. Our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful our wedding in Hawaii was. The ceremony was small and intimate which is just what we wanted. The words and advice Captain Howie spoke during the ceremony were eloquent and meaningful. Both Capt. Howie’s wife Deva and Jenny were such a help to us while getting ready for the wedding. They brought us beverages, checked to see if we needed anything, helped me get dressed, and helped to make sure we did not forget anything when the wedding was over. Oh and I can’t forget B.J. doing my hair and makeup. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I was very pleased. Jay also liked what she did. You guys made the entire experience trouble free and that is what we wanted. You never know… we may come back to renew our vows at some point in the future.
